Khor Fakkan Amphitheatre is located at the foot of Al Sayed Mountain, facing Khor Fakkan Beach.

This magnificent 190,000-square-foot Roman-style amphitheatre was inaugurated by the Ruler of Sharjah on December 14, 2020. The amphitheatre is linked to the adjoining waterfall, offering stunning views of both the waterfall and the beach.

The semicircular structure features an imposing stone façade with 234 arches and 295 columns. Positioned on an elevated hillock, it provides visitors with a spectacular view overlooking the Khor Fakkan Corniche. The amphitheatre spans a total area of 18,000 square meters and stands as a distinctive cultural landmark of the emirate of Sharjah, blending elements of ancient Roman and Greek empires with the city’s modern landscape.

The amphitheatre can accommodate around 3,600 visitors at a time. Its semi-circular design and unique seating arrangement ensure that every visitor has an incredible view. Additionally, a built-in cooling system helps keep the area comfortable during the summer months.

The amphitheatre is easily accessible via the Sharjah-Khor Fakkan Road, making it a convenient destination for both residents and tourists. Whether traveling from Sharjah city or nearby emirates, clear signage and well-maintained roads lead you directly to this architectural marvel.
