February half term at Port Lympne
Where – Lympne, Hythe, CT21 4LR

This February half term at Port Lympne Reserve, explore over 600 acres to discover where the wild things are and take part in the Golden Gorilla competition where a private rangers tour is available to be won every day.
Running from 10th – 18th February, your challenge is to try to find the golden gorilla in his hiding place around the Reserve. If you win you could find yourself and your group enjoying a special safari, to make your visit extra memorable.
There’s is absolutely loads to see and do at Port Lympne this half term.
February Half term at Dover Castle

What’s more fabulous than dressing up as a Knight or Princess and going to play at a real life castle? The kids will even enjoy it! Over half term step into Dover Castle’s real fairy tales with storytelling brought to life in spellbinding adventures.

If your little ones haven’t yet enjoyed the fantastic, best selling book ” Dogs don’t do ballet” by Anna Kemp, then seeing the theatre production has got to be even better.
A fabulous feel-good show features music, songs, hand-crafted puppets and Biff, the ballet-dancing dog!
Brought to the stage by acclaimed Little Blue Monster Productions, this hilarious new story for ages 3+ tells the very funny tale of a small dog with big dreams!
Showing twice on 11th February, tickets are likely to sell fast so book quick to avoid disappointment.

What a fantastic option for the children to unleash their creative streak, particularly if the weather isn’t kind. Art of Mine in Maidstone is offering some excellent pottery painting workshops over half term with some exciting and original themes including a Harry Potter inspired day.

This February half term its Princess and Prate theme at The Hop Farm. I wonder how many of you have a small that will defy stereo type? My princess will definitely insist on going as a pirate!

Kids adore learning about nature. What better setting to do so, whilst exploring a magnificent castle.
Discover more about conservation and local wildlife as part of Hever Castle’s February half-term event, Living with Nature.
The event is aimed at school aged children to help them learn how to create habitats and encourage wildlife into your own garden.
You are invited to join RSPB volunteers on a walk around the grounds to learn about natural and man made habitats or if you prefer you can take a self-guided ‘Wildlife Detective’ walk to investigate animal footprints and tracks. In the Castle, learn about nature throughout history from how fur was used to keep warm to which birds belong to the Queen.
What a truly fantastic event to educate your smalls on the wonder of nature.

Lots of fresh air, education and excitement should tire the smalls of in time for bed. Plus, dogs are welcome to join in too, so that’s their exercise covered for the day – result!
