In late November it was my son’s 18th birthday and I really wanted to organise something special to celebrate such a milestone birthday. I had been recommended Siyyad Kahn Tourism by numerous people and thought I would reach out to them and find out about their desert safari adventures. This was the best decision I could have made. They made my sons 18th birthday one he will remember forever.

Our Experience with Siyyad Kahn Tourism on a Desert Safari Tour
Everything about our experience with this company was easy and straightforward. Booking was all done via Whatsapp and they were only too happy to answer my endless questions!
Our tour guide for the day, Abdullah, made contact with my prior to collection and arrived in plenty of time.
The vehicle he arrived in was a top of the range safari specific SUV and we enjoyed a relaxing ride to the desert.
On arrival at the first stop we used the restrooms, enjoyed looking around the stalls selling various Arabic fayre, and purchased our head scarves for the day.
Dune Bashing!
Next it was time for the part my son was most excited about. The dune bashing! I was slightly terrified. But I needn’t have been. Abdullah was quite amazing. He had a extraordinary way of being cheeky and hilariously funny, whilst making us feel completely safe at all times. It was an adrenaline fuelled experience and I would do it again a thousand times ( with Abdullah at the wheel!).
My son is a complete petrol head and adrenaline junkie, so he sat in the front and had the time of his life!
In The Desert
Once out in the desert Abdullah arranged for us to get to know a stunning, and beautifully kept falcon. We each got to hold and pet the bird who seemed very happy with all the attention.
We then tried our hand at sand boarding which was great fun!
Abdullah provided us some outstanding opportunity for some amazing photos, individually and as a family. Getting these precious family photos was just wonderful, Abdullah acted as our personal photographer, and he was both creative and patient. He is such a professional guide, and knows exactly how to capturer once in a life time shots, using our phones so we have all the memories forever.
Desert Safari Camp
We headed out of this part of the desert and enjoyed a scenic drive to the desert safari camp. On arrival we were delighted by the surroundings. The camp is authentic, clean and provides a relaxing yet exciting aesthetic.
We were shown to our authentic Arabic dining area where we were looked after by polite and helpful staff. The buffet food was delicious, the entertainment was excellent and we enjoyed meeting the camels and the falcons, trying the Sheesha, we got henna tattoos and generally enjoyed a special evening.
Thanks to Siyyad Kahn Tourism my sons 18th Birthday was every bit as special as I could ever have imagined. Special thanks to Abdullah, our wonderful tour guide, for creating such an amazing experience and for taking such good care of us.
