5 best places to visit Santa in East Sussex 2021 – There are so many places offering opportunities to meet Santa, how do you choose where your child will have the best experience? The last thing you want is to pay a steep fee, queue for what seems like hours, only to leave feeling grumpy and disappointed that your children have met with a dreadful Santa impersonator, with no personality and a piece of poorly wrapped plastic tat.

Drusillas Park

Where?Alfriston Rd, East Sussex BN26 5QS

When? 20th November – 23rd December

A day out at Drusillas is a family favorite at any time of year, but it is evn more magical during the festive period.

Blackberry Farm

When?Every weekend in December and during the holidays in the lead up to Christmas

All the fun of the farm, but at Christmas time! And, it is confirmed that Santa WILL be visiting!

Bodium Castle Sleigh Event

Where?Bodiam, Robertsbridge TN32 5UA

When?1 December – 3 January (except 24-25 December)

Sadly, due to ongoing covid restruction there won’t be an opportunity to meet Santa at Bodium Castle this year. However, they are offering the next best thing – a festive photo chance inhis sleigh!

“You’ll find a festive Christmas sleigh parked up in the courtyard of the castle where you can jump on and take a family photo.”

Kent and East Sussex Railway 

Tenterden Town Station, Station Road, Tenterden, TN30 6HE

The Santa Special at the Kent and East Sussex Railway has been making Christmas magical for families for 46 years! I remember being taken as a small child and it being the most incredible start to our festivities.

” There’s nothing quite like the pleasure of a steam train ride knowing your child will meet Santa and receive a gift, all from the comfort of your allocated seats.  Sit back, relax and enjoy the journey!

The experience for 2021 includes:

  • Steam Train Ride for 70 minute return journey
