Neverland Children’s Tours

Petrolhead A and Princess D were very excited to be invited to do something different in London – join Neverland Children’s Tours on a trip to the Sealife London Aquarium.  There are so many things to do in London, it’s hard to know where to start.  If you don’t have long for your visit then have a look at this 3 days in London itinerary.  Or plan a self guided walking tour.

We met Cara, our tour guide, at the playground which was just a short walk from where the group went for a delicious Italian lunch. The lunch was included as part of the tour and the children were thrilled to be able to choose whatever they wanted from the menu. Cara spent time chatting with each child , getting to know them and putting them at ease. Mine are both very confident and comfortable around people, but I imagine that Cara is excellent also with shier, or more anxious children, as she has a very calm and warm demeanour. I  always think that kids are fantastic judges of character, and my two always see straight through those who aren’t genuine – they took to Cara immediately.

Sealife London Aquarium

Having devoured their meals and put on their safety lanyards, the small group set off in the direction of the Sealife London Aquarium. On arrival Cara gave the children were workbooks and fun exercises to complete on the way around. Petrolhead A wasn’t too fusses about filling them in but Princess D is at an age where she loves anything that involves ticking boxes and spotting targets.

The children loved every second of their time at the aquarium. They were able to take their time, look at everything and ask as many questions as they wished ( Princess D’s idea of heaven ). Cara was organised but at no point rushed or hurried the kids. There were frequent toilet break opportunities and Cara also provided lots of information about what the children were seeing along the way.
